Destiny

$250.00

As I filled the white space with color I turned the paper around a few times to see which direction was working best. I wasn’t sure it was making sense from any angle but decided on the best one and just kept layering colors hoping for a breakthrough. When I waking up the next morning I saw a picture that I didn’t even see the night before, up close the details tell so many stories. As I was setting the painting up to take photos I heard my voice repeating what I tell my kids again a again. “It is beautiful because you made it and now if has a part of you inside.” Sometimes when they become upset that they ‘ruined’ their art work, I always remind them that there is no one way or outcome. Not always a mess is what we see it as and even if it is a lesson can be learned from it.
